I wish you all of the best with hemangiosarcoma BUT (I am using this eraser word). Please please please read all you can about this disease.
There was not much info on the web 3 years ago when my 9 year old got it. I didn't know until I was 4 months into treatment at a cost of near 4000, yes...
Is this a Pennsylvania problem???No just kidding. We have just begun (15 days) of treating our rescue boy for IBD. He has been on Predisone and tagamet and Eukanaba FP. He never had the loose stool problem but the randam vommitting 10 hours after eating. I hate to say this as I may jinx us...
Teressa,
Just stopping back by to let you know you are still in my thoughts.
How are you doing today?
Boxer hugs to you from Mutti.

Teressa,
SO VERY SORRY to hear your sad news.
It has been 10 months since we lost Hume. I still cry almost daily.
I wanted to answer your question about how soon is too soon.
We knew Hume was terminal so we had talked about getting a new dog. She died Thursday night and we called Boxer Rescue...
Marlin,
So sorry to hear the news. We lost Hume just about 10 months ago to cancer and even tho we have a new fur baby, there are times when I still look for Hume.
Hope you can remember the good times and know he is at least no longer in any pain or discomfort.
Boxer hugs to you

Teresa,
It was Hemangisarcoma. A type of cancer that travels through the blood. Very fatal and quick. Thank goodness we live in SE Pa and near the Univ of Penn Vet school. We did treat her but after 19 weeks we lost her.
It has been almost a year, and I can't type this without crying.
Mutti...
I hope that Greta is ok but it sound so familiar to me. Just like my 9 year old last year in June and it was not her heart.
My prayers are with you and hope for the best.
Bo
