Check out the homecooking forum for recipes! If you are only cooking one chicken, you won't need a lot of water. I usually cook 20 pounds of chicken + veggies in mine all at once and only add 2 quarts of water.

White vinegar may also do the trick of neutralizing the odor. It's cheap, won't harm your babies and no smell when it dries.

We had this problem and solved it by landscaping their potty area with pea gravel(no pun intended!). They have a good sized fenced in area to do their business. Clean up is easy; scoop up the piles and rinse the rocks. The rest of the back yard is also fenced in but the grass is nice and green!

I recently picked up a dehydrator at a garage sale. My two love the chicken jerky but it's so expensive. I bought chicken breasts, cut into strips and pounded them flat. I marinated with chicken broth and a little garlic and dried for 12 hours. OMG! They loved them! I also dried bananas for me...

Too funny! This happens at our house too. Willie(our Boston) sometimes cannot wait to pee on the same spot as Bayleigh and will just pee on her. The first time he did it, she looked at him like, WTH?! Now she keeps an eye on him, either waiting til he finds his spot or being ready to move midstream!

I'm confused about why she was moved out of your room? If she did well in your room, why not move her back in? Does she potty in the bedroom at night? Have you had her checked for UTI/bladder infections? Our female seemed to take forever to housebreak. I really didn't fully trust her until...

I also have a Boston and a Boxer. I think my Boston has more energy than the Boxer! They play well together and are best buds!

We used to have this problem also. We ended up doing some landscaping in the main area the dogs pottied in right outside the door. No grass would grow so we put down landscape fabric and pea gravel(no pun intended!). Easy to keep the area clean...scoop and rinse with the hose. And no mud, dead...

Bayleigh was crate trained. She stayed in her crate when we were gone but slept in our room with us at night. She has a nice comfy bed on the floor beside our bed. As a pup, we would tether her to the leg of the bed to prevent her from wandering around while we slept. She took to that right...

I am so sorry. Your beautiful brave girl was such a fighter. Cami is looking down from the bridge now, wondering why her mommy is so sad...she is happy, healthy and pain free. Hugs to you and your family

I haven't been on for a while and started this thread at the beginning. Needless to say, my heart was breaking and the tears were flowing! I am so happy to hear that Cami is doing so much better...hang in there!
