    The Boxer stare?

My dog will stare other dogs in the eye, and he doesn't get in fights. I assume the Border Collie half of him does the staring, since they have a keen eye in herding. He's Lab-Border Collie.

    Pitbulls

The females can also have bad fights in other breeds, such as Boxers and Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Yet, if their personalities are compatible, females can also get along very well in all the above breeds. I'm a big fan of Rottweilers and Boxers, I think they are awesome breeds. I plan to...

    Pitbulls

Two females will sometimes fight too. And some people suggest that the female on female fights are worst....

    Pitbulls

The above quotes from this site: http://www.realpitbull.com/agg.html is exactly why I don't trust Pitbulls around other dogs and animals unsupervised. I know there are some that will live their whole lives and never fight, but as a whole they are more genetically predisposed to fight than...

So Who has a "Natural" Boxer?

Anyone notice that dogs with stubby tails seem to wag their whole behind when excited? My Rottweiler did. My Lab X doesn't (he has full tail)

So Who has a "Natural" Boxer?

Dobies with the ears natural have similar ears to Rottweilers. Floppy, cute, and kind of Lab-like. Makes Dobies look more like hounds with the ears down. Interestingly, I've seen a small percentage of Rottweilers with ears cropped. I don't like the look, but it looks better on them...

So Who has a "Natural" Boxer?

One other observation. I've seen two kinds of docked tails in Boxers. The most common for Boxers seems to be a long dock (about 3"). The least common kind I will call the "Rottweiler" dock. I've seen a few Boxers that have short docks--an inch or less like a Rottweiler has. Are...

So Who has a "Natural" Boxer?

I love the natural look for the ears. Makes the dog look normal, and cuter. IMO, the pinned ears make Boxers and Dobies look "mean". I've NEVER seen a Boxer with natural tail. Could someone please post a picture of a Boxer with its normal tail?

    Does your boxer(s) do this?

My Lab-X does this too. I'm guessing its just normal doggie behavior?

    My Introduction Thread

I've known many Boxers throughout the years, and all of them have been very gentle and good dogs. They are a beautiful looking breed too....sort of looks like a medium sized Mastiff-type dog. My next door neighbor recently got a Boxer puppy (actually he is over a year old now, but still acts...
