Well today we're finally going to switch Sofie's food. We were feeding her Science Diet (and previous from that was Purina ProPlan); however, not only was the food low quality (which we found out from this board) but she also has some intolerance...some rash on belly and icky stools. So, after the advice of some on the board, we are going to try Natural Balance's Duck & Potato. I hope she does better. She doesn't seem to be in pain or anything, she just wants to lick her belly and scratch her ears A LOT (even to the point where we have to get the hy-peroxide out). She also poops about 4 times on a 40 minute walk. By the end of the walk, complete diarrhea with some blood in it. She got spayed last Tuesday, and that is doing well. The vet recommended the switch as well after seeing her small rash on her belly. Thanks a lot! I hope this works, we really want Sofie to get the most and best out of her food.

Sofie should do much better on this brand of food. The previous brands are just garbage. Wishing her well from her spaying and by the way Ali poops a lot on her run too but not diaherra with blood. She's on Candidae. An excellent brand of dog food. Good Luck Sofie and hope that nasty itching stops real soon. Keep us updated.
