Ok, here I go again! Since my one post about Boxer traits has gone over so well, I decided we should try another.

Let's all put our thoughts together and tell those out there who are looking for new addition to their family, why they should or should not get a Boxer!

1) For the love! They just want to be loved, and never expect anything in return.

For the expressive faces!! What other breed of dog can actually show how is he is feeling with the ears or the wrinkles or the eyes or the nose ect. ect. ect....hehe I love those Boxer faces!!

I hate to be the kill joy but there are some down sides people should consider:

Cost - care, feeding and amusement of a boxer is more than with some other breeds - worth it for me but something to be considered before getting one

Health issues and shorter life span - boxers tend to have allergies an are can have joint problems and are prone to cancer - often living a shorter than span. If this is something you can deal with, you will have a number of wonderful years. If not, consider a different breed or maybe even a mutt.
