I am a very cautious person with Rex but I am beginning to worry I might be putting the other dogs at risk.

When do you seperate the kids from the dogs? We had a bunch of kids over this week-end. I saw on several instances where kids were petting and sort of hanging on the dogs. At the time I figured it was loving and the dogs were free to leave.

After reading the thread about a kid getting bit I am rethinking my relaxed attitude.

I dio not think issolating the dogs is health but when do you step in and say leave the dog alone?

You just have to watch them & see how they react, my dogs do fine until the kids start playing rough or scuffling with each other & that upsets my dogs, thats when they begin to get very protective.
