Hi all i recently posted a message calle My Dog?
thanks for the great response and yet i have another question for you.
you see my dog's name is Harley and whoever he ran away from was probally rich because he was already nutered and ears cropped and probally up to date on his shots well anyway you guys know how hard i have worked for this dog and i also have a 2 year old black and tan coon hound who i love both dearly.
what i am puzzled with is i can't get a job because i am in school and i barley can afford dog food nutrition reqiuremants for him. Should i give Harley away to a better home or what? i know he would be happier with me but i think he could go on to be better in another lifestyle. Now he is in show condition shape i have saw dogs on the award shows on the discovery channel that looked like a pile of rocks when compared to him but i don't have the money to get him in a show.

I believe if he's a found dog you won't be able to show him anyway unless he was wearing his AKC papers around his neck when he ran away.

I too was once a poor person, I used to buy dog food before my food. My vet used to let me make an appointment for one dog and my boyfirend's dog could come to and he wouldn't charge us for both dog's treatment. It was never an issue for me though, I wouldn't have taken in the dogs and formed a bond with them if I thought they wouldn't be mine forever. I can't imagine any circumstance under which I'd be willing to part with them even if I thought they could live on a farm and eat caviar - I'm certain that they're happier with me. Just imagine - would you trade your parents for a new set of folks so that you could live in a mansion? (Well some people who had bad parents might, but it sounds like you're not a bad parent though )

You can show any dog - even a mutt like sumi - in the obedience catagory. It takes more time than $.
