What did you get?

Thought it would be fun to start a thread where we could talk about what we got for Christmas.

I'll start:

- I got a new curio cabinet to put my pretty stuff in
- my favorite gift, was the missing piece to a two piece glass boxer set I now have. The set was designed by K.R. Haley using the company owner's boxers as his models. Made by American Glass company way back (1930s)
I have had the lying down one for awhile now but the sitting one is pretty rare and when you do find one, his ears are usually chipped or completely gone. Stephen found me one that is in perfect condition. The set has taken permanent residency in my new curio.
- I also got the normal clothes and other doodads.

I got the news that Austin's surgery was a success and there is no more cancer. Couldn't ask for a better gift!

My DH got me a great new camera (since I accidentally dropped and broke ours while at Disney in Oct). He also got me an HP printer/scanner/copier. (I think I am the only person I know that is just now getting a nice printer). AND.... DH got us an elliptical exercise machine!! I have always wanted one. Now just waiting for the New Year to officially start my resolution to get in better shape and work on my endurance. I got some other cute little things, bath and body stuff, candles, socks, a cute purse my sister knitted for me, and one of my faves; framed pictures of me and my sisters, it is a double frame, one side is a pic from when we were all little, probably 1 y/o (I am the "baby"), 5 y/o, and 6 y/o and I am in the middle and my sisters are kissing me on each cheek, and then another one from about 4 years ago where they are kissing me on each cheek. It was so sweet of my sister to think of that.
Most of all though, I am just so thankful that I was able to spend Christmas with my wonderful family and make more memories. It was a very special day.

I got new snow boots, A Racheal Ray "Garbage Bowl" which is too cute! and a Nintendo Wii! [yeah, I am officially the oldest Gamer I ever heard of! ]

That is awesome! You would be a hit with my kids! I got the usual, towels, sheet set, running shoes, clothes, a soft throw to snuggle with, an awesome body pillow, luggage and some money to go shopping with at the after Christmas sales. My favorite was the ornament my son made me at school for our tree. He was so proud of it!

My DH bought me a camcorder/digital camera to replace the one he dunked in the river fishing and its a nifty little thing! Hurricane and I will be having lots of fun with that...

I also got some Tempur-Pedic house slippers that are amazingly comfortable, that I had been begging for since last year when I bought my dad a pair.

On the Wii, we took ours to the family gathering and it was a big hit, especially with Stephen's 83 year old Grandma...I don't think you are the oldest gamer!

DH & I bough ourselves a fancy new camera (Canon EOS 40D) and an indoor cycle computer/trainer thing for our bikes to go on.

I got a lovely 'Storm' watch from DH (who incidentally is taking it back to the jewellers when it opens again as the battery doesn't work :()
A digital photo frame from my brother, clothes, necklace & a huge box of Jelly belly jelly beans from my daughter, earrings, body cream & chocs from a friend and a hobo ornament from another friend. Oh and money from my mum so I went out today and bought a new digital camera, only thing is pixel size doesn't go as low as my other one so I have to resize the pics if I want to put photo's on here :(.
My son got nobody anything as he didn't have any money :mad: I was so p*ssed off with him, he could have at leats got my mum & his sister something!

LOL.. that is Perfect! at least I know I have a few years left before I break the record! We love our Wii...especially the sports games!

We do too! The sports games that came with it are played alot when we have company but I like to play Excite Truck by myself. I also have Super Mario Galaxy that I play but not near as much as the others.

We got the game Mario Party 8 to go with the Wii too! Too much fun!

I also got a surround sound theater system for the living room.
