When I was pregnant I craved sauerkraut, pastrami, and struedel! :p

My husband once ate tuna and Oreos during the time I was pregnant.

Strangely enough I am not craving anything much....infact I don't seem to feel hungry at all. But I trying to eat as much veggies and fruits as possible..But Draco seems to be craving a lot..he is always hungry (he was never like that before), and everytime I am opening the fridge he is standing there drooling, maybe he is having simulated pregnancy!!!!!!!

Thanks for asking! Right now, I'm not craving much of anything, just wanting what I ate before that I can't have now (soda, chocolate and sweets). I too am trying to eat good, but it's hard to change your diet so drastically. Like Juno, a lot of times I'm not hungry, but force myself to eat something so that my baby is being fed. I'm used to skipping breakfast and lunch most days and I know now that I can't do that.

I can remember craving sour things like lemon heads and lemon jolly ranchers. Dont skip breakfast, just eat something small like a bowl of oatmeal or some yogurt. I suffered horribly from morning sickness with my first preg. and honestly eating just a bit of something really helped me.

I had four kids many years ago (our youngest is 20). When I was pregnant with my first son I craved peanut butter sandwiches, with my second son, fries and gravy (gave birth to an 11 lb, 6 oz baby after those fries). With our fourth child, a daughter, I craved brussel sprouts smothered in butter. I'd cook a whole bag of them and fill a huge dinner plate. It's a wonder our daughter wasn't green when she was born. :D The strangest craving, though, was with our third son. I had something the doctor called "pica" which is a craving for strange things which one normally doesn't eat. I wanted so badly to eat the mortar from between the bricks on the outside of our house!! I had to restrain myself constantly from picking and eating mortar. It was horrible and I felt like such a freak. My doctor assured me, though, that this condition occurs quite frequently in pregant women. Hope you guys who are pregnant now don't have any cravings like that!! :D Good luck with your pregnancies!

My first preg I had morning sickness for the first 6 months. As soon as I got out of bed I would get sick. It was horrible because there was nothing in my stomache to come out. I know this sounds yucky but I started getting straight out of bed and drinking orange juice. Orange juice was the only thing I could drink/eat that would taste the same when it came back up. Finally for 24 hours I got sick every hour no matter if I had ate or not. My mom took me to my docter and she gave some kind of a shot. After that I never got sick again. Then I started craving McDonald's cheese burgers. With my second I didn't crave anything. I also didn't have morning sickness for near as long.

Completely Boxer Crazy
I craved everything. I gained 90 lbs. when I was pregnant and was never sick a day. My doctor was totally disgusted with me but I just never felt full when I was pregnant. From the time I woke up in the morning until I went to bed at night I thought about food and what I would eat next. I spent a fortune at work on my daily food intake. As soon as I delivered my daughter my eating habits went back to the way they were before I got pregnant. I only have one child. I think I was scared to get pregnant again :)

Bananas, mashed potatoes, Snickers and Lasagna for me, I also got hooked on Sunkist Lemon Soda. The worst part for me was I had to be put on a special bland diet later in both my pregnancies, I developed pre-eclampsia with both, and I thought I was going to die without those craving fixings. After my daughter was born and I was in the clear, my mom brought to the hospital what I wanted most, a big package of Snickers bars, she was a bit disappointed when I told her I didn't want them anymore. I would do it all over in a heartbeat if I could, kids are so wonderful, can't even remember what it was like before they were a part of my life.

Many years ago when I was pregnant I ate daily the following: 1 package of Kraft Dinner, Barbeque Chips and Onion Dip, Chocolate Milk,& Fresh Cherries. This was on top of my three meals a day and once I got through the horrid first three months. At the later part of my pregnancy I added soft boiled eggs to the list. I gained 26 lbs and our son was born at 6lb 4oz. Oh yeah and for a special treat I would have an A&W teenburger and coney fries topped off with a rootbeer. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. Interestingly enough our son does not like any of the above mentioned foods!
