Well we got a surprise this weekend!
Last Tuesday I called Tyson's breeder (Nicole) and let her know that we were interested in a second boxer. She told us that she was not expecting a litter to be available until spring. Around March. So we thought that we were just going to have to wait 5 long months until we could get our little one.
Then Saturday night, Nicole calls us and says that she has a breeder friend in West Virginia who has a litter that is ready on the 24th. That she had all the puppies spoken for and now one of the families that wanted a puppy has backed out. Nicole told her about us looking for a puppy so Sunday we drove 2 hours to meet our new member of the family. He's a male flashy fawn and sooooo beautiful. And his dad was the most gorgeous boxer I have ever seen. He is a plain brindle. He weighs 72 lbs. Solid muscle. Seriously the best boxer I have ever seen. I even put him above my Tyson and that never happens.
We sat at the breeder's (Cassy) for two hours talking about her dogs she only has two dams and one sire, and just plain talking about boxers it was the best 2 hours ever. We are so excited. In 9 days we will have two Boxers! Can not beleive it. Just thought I would share.
