Visits from our Lost Pets

While I was looking for lost pet poems on the internet I always try to post one for Riley’s anniversary at the bridge, although I didn’t find a poem that touched me this year..
I ended up writing my own from my heart, I did see this web address posted on the bottom of the page of the bereavement poems site.. So I just had to check it out.
I know I’ve taken photos with these orbs circles in them before .. Have You?? I found it interesting, maybe because I miss Riley so much that I found comfort in thinking he was coming to check up on his family.. OK some of you might think ..I’m nuts .. Yeah well you all ready knew that.. But think about it.. have you ever had these circles show up in photos and wonder what the heck is that. I’m sure there are 101 explainations of what people think the orbs are, but after checking out this site I prefer to think that its not a flaw in the photo or the flash .. but after viewing the site, I do believe it could be our beloved and very missed pets coming for a visit.. I know Cody and Layla always act sometimes like they see something that we don’t see and they follow it with their eyes and watch like something is moving, I know that some of you have had to have a pet do this before too.. Maybe they see ghost of our beloved pets.. I know that my dogs have freaked me out many times by staring at something and watching it almost in a trance like state… as you watch them act like that.. any way call me nuts if you like.. But I have people who think I’m nuts for believing there is a rainbow bridge or that I still write poems for Riley or believing angels do exist.. Not to make light over losing ones pet, it’s a very sad & difficult time and I know how much it hurts, so I would never try to belittle anyone or their beliefs.. We all Love our pets and we all handle our loss differently..this site might not be for you.. I found it interesting so I thought I'd share Check it out if you’d like

We have orbs in pictures at strange times,like when DD from Minnesota comes for Christmas always orbs with her,I say it's my parents that have passed because it's usually 2 orbs,this happens every time she comes to NC

Wow thats awesome, its a comfort to think of loved ones not with us still checking on us.. I've only seen orbs in photos I guess things that didn't make any sense when I was younger kind of do now, so I guess one can chalk it up too I'm getting more open minded as I get older or more crazy in my beliefs :O)You know what they say insanity is hereditary, You get it from your kids

Also when I lived in Minnesota my kitchen phone would ring 1 ring & I would always say Hello Dad as my Dad had passed many years before,then my Aunt died & shortly after she passed my phone would ring 2 rings,never anyone on the line so we just started saying hello Dad & Auntie Val,well my brother passed a year after my Aunt & shortly after that the phone rang 2 full & 1/2 ring again no one on the line so we figure my brother was letting us know he found my Dad & Aunt & they were together & doing fine,this would happen on special days, birthday,fathers day etc since we moved to NC we have had none of this happen,but DH in Minnesota has lights that go on & off & electric heater that goes on & off,very strange

I too have a strange un explained thing that happens at our house, The celing fan in my bed room which has lights. it will all of a sudden come on or turn off we have a dimmer switch.. so we always turn it to the lowest setting so when it does turn on its not so bright as it used to wake us up when it comes on in the middle of the night.. It does it in the day time too. I will go up in my bed room and the lights are on and I didn't turn them on..sometimes in the midddle of the night now I don't even know until I wake up to go potty and the light is on and I know I turned it off before going to sleep, and just this morning the lights on it flashed on off three times, the fan will also stops sometimes or changes speeds all by its self.. I'm pretty used to it now.. One night the light came on I got out of bed turned it off got back in bed and poof the light came back on, got up turned it off and poof it was on I said Okay enough I'm tired and want to go to sleep so lights off.. and it didn't come back on.. any ways thats my haunted celing fan story.

I get lots of orbs in photos and I do believe in the other side. Sometimes I visit the breeder where we got Nikita from. During one of my visits I was devastated to see a boxer pup, named Susie, who was quite ill and extremely small for her age. This bothered me for days, and about a week later I was awoken in the middle of the night and saw Susie and she wanted us to know she was happy and finally at peace. My husband says I should call the breeder to find out if she actually passed. We also had a rottweiller named Toro (1983-1996). I've never said his name to our 3 yr old daughter, but she'll point up to the sky and say "look, it's Toro!".

My niece got married last May, and both of my kids were in the wedding. When I got my pictures back there were a couple of orbs in them. I think it was my Mom saying she was there in spirit. But when I look at the pics on the computer, I can see many more orbs in them.

Just an update....I'm sort of freaked out. I called the breeder and asked her about Susie and it turns out that Susie passed the same night I had dreamt her.
