Well, Max got a clean bill of health :)

Only thing the Vet said was he was under weight. He is 11.5 weeks old and weigh in at 15.3lbs today. Is that under weight compare to other Boxers? I'm feeding him CANIDAE, All Life Stage dry food and have been since he was 9.5 weeks old. Should I be concern?

Did they check him for worms? Does he eat well? I wouldn't worry too much about it. Mine have always been thin but eat like oinkers. I think the vet would have run tests or done more if he thought it was something to worry about. Does the brand you are feeding make a puppy food? Maybe he needs more calories, and puppy food has more calories and other things growing puppies need. It's hard to tell my his weight. Izzy, was 18 pounds at 16 weeks old, but she has always been skinny. It's hard to tell just by his weight. Can you see ribs and/or his backbones or hip bones?

Good grief if that is underweight, mine was starving to death! Hurricane was 12 weeks old when we brought him home, and he weighed an ounce shy of 8 lbs! He was pretty thin, but not too bad. He looked thin, but not like he was starving or anything. Of course it depends on the size of your puppy, if he looks extremely boney and thin I can see where the vet would say that, but otherwise I wouldn't worry too much. 15.3 lbs sounds pretty good to me! And he began to gain a good amount of weight too, about a pound or two per week, after we brought him home.

The weight is just about what Sophie was, She ate cannadae with wellness for puppies mixed in. Now at 6 months she eats the cannadae mixed with fromm. She is at 36 LBs and seems just right to me!
