Hello!

Not sure if it is required or recommended to update one's introduction, but I thought it wouldn't hurt.

My original introduction is here:
http://www.boxerworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=94999

Our Huicho is going to be 4 soon. For a while, we've been thinking about adopting another boxer. We went to a very reputable rescue place in our state and after a few months, we finally got matched up with a beautiful 5 y.o. female. Her name is Lola. She's great.

We're having some aggression issues with her. I'm going to post more extensively in the Behavioral Issues forum, but basically, she has snapped at Huicho a few times since we got her and we need advice on how to prevent that from happening. We may try a trainer, but we may need more immediate advice. Any thoughts are welcome.

We're very excited about having her added to our family, and we hope we can make it all work better.

Thanks for reading!

I don't have any experiece with two boxers, but plenty with two dogs(adopted) Generally they bicker for a few days then get along very well! Treat them both equally and do not scold. If one is misbehaving, give the dog a time out, then praise both when back together. Dogs, like humans, do best with positive reinforcement! It is tough sometimes when they chew somthing they shouldn't or pee on something they shouldn't, but remember, dogs don't have very good short term memories and even though you may be upset with them, show them lots of love. They will pay you back with BODY WAGS!!!!! I wish you the best to you and your partner.
