Twitchy Ears

Hey all-- I searched the forums for "twitchy ears" and couldn't find what I was looking for.

I have a new foster-- male 2-3, just neutered, has scarcoptic mange, and heartworms. In the past three days, he started twitching his ears like crazy! Its kind of cute, but I don't think he's doing it to make us love him more. LOL

We just gave him the first round of treatment for the mange (Revolution)-- that was 4-5 days ago.

Now his ears are just twitching and moving -- even when he sleeps. It's kind of weird. Any suggestions as to what might be causing it?

I have a feeling it is the mange. Roxy had Dmange when she was little. It was horrible, she had to do dips it was so bad. My guess is, it is the mites moving trying to find a safe place, in or around the ears. Hope everything goes well for you!
