Titus is home...

Well, a little more closure for our family - we got Titus' ashes back last night. I dropped by the vet on the way home from work because I hadn't heard anything. Turned out they left a message during the day at my home number. The ashes are in a nice cedar box with a sticker on the bottom certifying they are from Titus. They also give a little card guaranteeing it was a private cremation. So my Big Boy is home where he belongs. We miss him so much. I cried on the way home thinking about him, but I know he is happy at the bridge and cancer free. Hug your babies extra hard for me and Titus.

Lots of love hugs and boxer kisses for you and your Titus. Try to remember Titus before he had cancer and know that by letting go of your needs you helped him to again be a young pup who is cancer free. God bless you and your family during this diffucult time.

Well just think of it this way- put Titus in a place where he can contantly keep a watch on your family, and know that he is looking out for all of you. He loved you all very much and knew he was loved in return, which is why you did what was best for him. You all are in our thoughts--best of luck to you and your family and to a smiling Titus back with his family again.

My heart bleeds for you and your family, I almost had to make the same decission for Max this summer when he became ill, and I could not bear the thoughts of not having him around. (Thankfully it did not come to that.)
