The REAL reason for Kiddy locks

My boy Skye has figured out how to use the automatic window openers in the car. My husband today was fighting over the window trying to roll it up while he was hitting the down button. The object is to remember to lock the windows before Skye gets to them--otherwise you will have Boxer leaning out the windows while you are going 70mph. After he locked the windows, Skye spent the next 20 minutes stomping on the armrests trying to get them to go down. I can't imagine what made him mentally link the window with the button--but he knows that it is the button to freedom:D

Been there!! LOL except now.... my passenger side window doesnt even roll down :( due to Adam pouncing it!!! Baby locks are also helpful on kitchen cabinets!! LOL

Too Funny! I can just imagine ya'll riding down the road and Skye hammering on the button to roll the window down! They can be soooo persistent!

Those window locks are important with fur and skin babies. Saw a news story of a toddler who was killed by kneeling on window button while hanging his head out the window and strangled himself. (Don't know where parent was during all this). Also have a boxer friend who got her head stuck when she put her paw on the button. She no longer likes to ride with her head out the window. My Pontiac Sunfire has the window buttons on the middle console instead of on the door so this sort of eliminates the problem.
