Does anyone else have a boxer who runs like an antelope??? ....

My first boxer, Star did. I used to love to watch her prance across the yard! Thor has never been that graceful and Arabella is always on a full out run. Oh how I wish I had half her energy!

The Boxelope... haha. Love it. Zoe doesn't run like an antelope, usually full out sprint. I have seen other boxers around do it though.

How exactly does an antelope run?

Mine have a couple different running styles depending on their moods.

1. The normal run around the house.

2. There is the proud strut when they win the toy.

3. And the boxer burn. Which requires the butt to be low to the ground while they run at mach 5 speed.

Nala does this all the time. We love it and laugh which makes her do it more.

Yes! Lol a couple weeks ago Juno actually slid out the front door without anyone noticing; she then pranced along the side of the house and my mom exclaimed "look at that deer!" before she realized it was Juno

Juno doesn't run. She leaps.

Snatch is a boxerlope in agility.... He hops around instead of running normally... Sigh....

That explains it! I couldn't figure out what Lucy was doing, we just kept sying she must have rabbit in her or something.

Ha, we've been saying Thora's half deer/jackrabbit since puppyhood. The air she gets when she hops around just blows me away
