Completely Boxer Crazy
Since Brutis has been gone (rest his sweet soul), his sister Bunni has been a different dog, in a good way. Brutis was very, very dominant and nothing was ever done to control it (my parents' fault) so Bunni never really had any freedom, she was always under his control. They were never allowed toys because Brutis would fight with Bunni as soon as they were on the floor. After Brutis, we were able to put a gate up and allow Bunni to see Mindy and Buffy (the small senior dog) and also so she didn't have to be alone shut in a room. That is going very well but I noticed after a few days Bunni seemed very interested when Mindy was playing with her toys. So I went out and bought Bunni a honking Goose. I wish I could describe the smile on her face. Everytime she looks at it, she just lights up. I got her another sheepskin 'baby' today and it is the same thing. It warms my heart so much to see her play with it and sleep with it. The look on her face, that is the best reward ever!
