Thanksgiving Day Workers

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!

Especially to all of us that are working today!!

I'm bummed b/c this is the first Thanksgiving I've had to work....EVER...and am states away from my family, fiance and FurBaby, so I can't even get to them for the weekend. Working 12hrs today 11am to 11pm and then this weekend too. Sooooooo
to all us Thanksgiving Workers.....Thanks for workin' and I hope you get to enjoy your holiday a little!!

Im from canada so its not our thanksgiving, but maybe you could have a nice dinner and celebrate after the weekend? I know its not the same but atleast you could see your family Hope you have a good weekend

I am among the working too!! I have had to work holidays over the past several years so this is really no big deal to me anymore. I do however have off xmas eve, xmas day, new years eve and new years day this year so I have something to look forward to.
Besides, my mom and dad bring me a plate of food later in the day

I too had to work. I am a supervisor in a large retail store and I was busy busy busy today!! Can't wait for tomorrow and saturday!!! Yeah right! (take deep breath... and repeat!) LOL

YAY! Home from work! Taking a job at a hospital I knew I'd be pulling holidays and am agreeable to it.....this was my first and it was just harder to deal with then I thought it would be. Talked to my fiance tonight just before getting on BW and he helped me feel better. Thanks for replying and thanks again for workin' the holidays, everyone!!!!

sorry you had to work on the holiday. I just got a new job with the state, so i get every holiday off including presidents day and columbus day...and i get them off with pay. Its so unusual for me because i've always worked in food service and had to work on every holiday but christmas.
