Boxer Booster
I posted a few months ago about Buford having 13 baby bottle nipples removed from his stomach through endoscopic surgery... he did awesome after the surgery and was back to his old silly boxer ways. He is awesome with our kids (ages 4months and 16months) and in general, is the perfect boxer - we love him so much!
Well about a week and a 1/2 ago we found out that there was a 14th nip that had made it's way into his lower GI. They had to go in to remove it and when they did, his intestines ruptured. After two more surgeries over the past week to try to repair it, Buford died on Saturday night. We are still in shock. He was going to be 4 years old next month. I'm so angry and sad - he's so young, we should have had so much more time with him!
We're still struggling with grasping the fact that he is really not coming back home - I just can't believe that I'm even writing this...
