tear jerking dog food commericals

Is it just me or do all the dog food commericals make you want to cry!!
The Purina, Pedigerie (sp), all of them make me want to BALL.
They are all so pretty and tug at me heart strings. It is times like this that I wish Derek and Ty were still around to hug and kiss.
Having all of your wonderfull fur baby stories helps keep them coming and I'll keep reading.

My husband laughs at me because I cry at those dog food commercials, have you seen the one with the Irish Setter? It starts out with him as a puppy and his little girl owner, and the end shot shows the Irish Setter with a greying muzzle coming up the stairs to a now grown young women.

Cry-a-thon! I am just a big 'ol sap!

I prefer the humorous ones. My personal favorites are the Purina Puppy Chow commercials. I'll never forget the first time we caught a whiff of one of Clio's puppy farts. My husband looked at me and said, "It's gotta be the Puppy Chow!"

This isn't a dog commercial, but have you seen the one where mom and kids come home for shopping and say, are you ready to feed the dog, and they place toilet paper around the kitchen, then the little puppy comes running in and slides all across the kitchen, bumps the toilet paper and run/slides again, bumping the toilet paper instead of the hard cupboards before getting safely to his bowl!

The Irish Setter (IAMS I think) one makes me cry too. It just seems so terribly sad! everyone in my family thinks I am insane because I cry at everything, especially things involving animals! (including dog food commercials :rolleyes: )

This isn't a dog commercial either, but have you seen the Jeep Cherokee one where the people have just gotten out of their Jeep and its all muddy. Then all of a sudden the car starts shaking just like a dog and throws mud everywhere! I thought that one was cute.

I also like the puppy chow and toilet paper one with the bloodhound puppy. Those are hysterical! :D

I love them all, We all need to keep a box of tissues next to the sofa. because if it is not a tear jerker, your laughing so hard you tear.

I saw a commercial the other day ( I think it was a car/truck commercial), and the guy leaves his drink in the drink holder in between the seats, and while he's gone in the store for a minute, his dog gets out of the back, comes up front, and sticks his mouth in the cup and drinks. Then the guy comes back, not knowing that his dog drank out of his cup ( because by now the dog is in the back of the car again)and then the guy drinks out of the cup too! It cracks me up. I also like the Best Buy commercial where the dog orders all those movies for himself.

Have any of you seen the comercial where the couple are all dressed up for a night at the Ballet and they see a stray standing in the pouring rain on the side of the highway and turn around and take him home? My SO and I both agree we would do the same thing if we saw it!
