Has anyone tried the sweet potato chews? I ordered some and just received them and my dogs absolutely love them! They are made with organic sweet potates. They don't smell like much, but they must taste yummie!

What brand are they? Sounds like it's something Grunt could have after his food trial is over - he hasn't had treats in months, and I KNOW he misses them!! Thanks!

The brand is "Snook's". They are called "Sweet Potato Dog Chips". Mine seem to really enjoy them. :) Nice to find something like that with only one ingredient!

Never tried the chews but both of mine love baked sweet potatoes. I leave the skins on and bake an extra one for them. It's rare that they get them but they completely devour them!

I saw these at the dog food store a few weeks ago and broke down and bought a bag of them. My dogs LOVED them and I know with Cooper having a sensitive tummy that it is one of the few treats other than the SG Turkey Jerky he could have. Even bully's are a no-no now for us as they give him runny poo's and ferocious gas.

I would recommend them to anyone! I have bought the bag of chips, and they also have ones where they "cored" out the center and put the slices on a knotted rope.

Cooper and CoCo love them!

I have never seen the chews in a store where I could by them but I have bought sweet potatoes and sliced them about 1/8 of an inch thick and then put them in the oven on 200 degrees for about an hour and then turned then oven off. I then prop the door open with a spoon or something just so there is a little crack and let the pilot light dry the potatoes the rest of the way. I usually leave them in there a couple of days. The dogs love them. Once I mixed some garlic and water together and brushed it on before placing them in the oven. It is a little bit of work but probably cheaper than buying the premade ones, I can't get them in my area anyhow so that is just how I do it.

I can't get them in my area either, I ordered them online. I have a food dehydrator that would work pretty good I think. I might try it once to see how they turn out. ;)

I give the boys Free Range Chicken Breast Wraps-they LOVE them. They come in all kinds of cool flavors. Im feeding Sweet Potato wrapped around chicken breats and they absolutely LOVE them. They are pricey (about $18 a bag) but well worth it because I know they are good for the dogs and they are not filled with disgusting fillers and unnecessary ingredients. Give em a go, Im sure anyones dogs will go crazy for them. : )
