    I'm so glad you got such good news! I wish you luck on the keeping calm, keeping the other dog from licking recovery. I've been there. Plus my hubby kept "forgeting" the keep calm part.

    All MCT's are cancer. Cancer is bad. A grade I mct is contained if you get clean margins when removing it, you have removed the cancer. However you need to keep an eye out to see if another one pops up somewhere else, since there has been one mct you know you have a higher risk factor. When Thor had his grade I mct removed, he had clean margins, so they did not need to go back in to try to remove anymore. My vet told me his prognosis was to live for another 5 yrs. Let's face it he's almost 9, I'll be very lucky, and very happy, if he lives another 5 yrs. As the grades get higher the worse the prognosis.
