Took Rocco for his follow up x-rays Tuesday from his ACL Surgery and had a lump on the other leg biopsied. It's been there for a while but was only the size of an eraser head so we always just kept an eye on it. Since the ACL surgery it has grown like crazy and is now the size of a robin's egg or so. Since I was taking him for the follow up had them check it. Found out tonight that it is a Spindle Cell tumor which my understanding is very aggressive locally. We are taking him tomorrow to have it removed. Poor dog has been through alot in 6 weeks but we can't put it off with the way it's grown over the last few weeks. Hopefully they get all the tumor, its legs and fingers etc!
