Snoring

Just out of curiosity, is my boxer the only one who snores loud enough to wake up the whole neighborhood? Seamus (pronounced Sha-mus) is 3 years old male, that weighs in at 102 lbs. (I know, he's a big boy). I have a second boxer, Murphy - female, who is 3 1/2 and weighs 50 lbs., but she doesn't snore at all. They both make little whimpering noises when they dream, but Seamus snores really loud. I think it's funny, but most people who visit when he's napping tell me there's something wrong with him. My vet says he doesn't have any health problems, but seemed a little puzzled that my snores louder than most people do. Anyone else have this issue, or am I alone in this one?

Specner can wake the nation. I am suprised I have not heard Seamus and vs. versa with our close proximity.

Wow, 102!!! I have only known one other boxer THAT big and it was my Nikki's Dad, he weighed 92 lbs and knocked my hubby right on his patoot when he came bounding out of the house.

Maybe it's a combination of Spencer and Seamus that I'm hearing!

The lady who runs the local boxer rescue (where I got both my boxer babies) has a white male that weighs around 105 lbs. The strange thing is, Seamus isn't fat, at all...he's all muscle. When the vet weighed him, I was shocked, I didn't think he weighed that much.

He's knocked me on my rear so many times - when he gets excited, he's like a 102 lb. toddler jumping around my house. He's very amusing to watch, and extremely gentle with Murphy, my smaller boxer.

Don't you just love boxers?!

Well I have a 96 lb male here, and Man can he snore!! Kailee weighs in around 56 lbs and has not quiet learned the snoring technique, but she is working on it. Yes I have spent many a night awake,because he rocks the house down.

My 8 month old little girl snores like a freight train! I can't even hear the television when she snores.

I have woke up with both elbows sore from jabbing both dad and Brit. Seems to worse when both have worked hard all day. I always straighten the drapes in the morning too. It is still valentines day so Ill be nice.

Erin and Jean, what's with the big boys! Holy Crimeny! Nikki's dad was not fat at all, he was just a big 92 lb. baby. Spencer sleeps on my feet and I can hardly walk in the morning and he is only 65lbs!!!

Karen, I guess I overloved Buddy I don't know!! Actually he doesn't really look fat, just very muscular. He's just one big tub of love that is all!!! lovicon

Tina used to snore when she was a little pup -- about 2-5 months old. Can you imagine that - a little puppy is snoring as loud as a big man!! When she grew up she almost stopped snoring, only sometimes and not that loud.
