I have been feeding Innova Evo for a few months now and both of my boxers love it, the problem is they stink! I have been washing their beds and giving them a bath quite often, but it's not helping. Any ideas? My white boy has allergy's so I hate to think of switching food.

No idea but Rocky's been on Evo for six or seven months and I haven't noticed any unpleasant odors. He only gets baths occasionally, probably been over a month since his last one. And he actually sleeps in my bed. I wash my sheets more often than I wash my dog :)

Actually, my mom saw him this past weekend and asked if I'd bathed him recently because his fur was so soft. His breath doesn't have any bad odor either. Now the occasional gas bomb will run you out of the room but that's most boxers I think.

Like I said though, I don't know what could be causing it, I just wanted to throw out that I don't think Evo has that effect as a general rule. Could it be something else in their diet or something maybe they're both getting into? What exactly does it smell like?

They have not been into anything that I know of, and they dont get any other food, occasionally some chicken jerky (just dried chicken).
They just smell like a dog that hasnt had a bath in months, I never noticed it before and was just wondering if the food was causing it.
I think I am going to try one of the other grainless fodds and see if that helps.

Rocky loves the chicken jerky too.

I hope you find a solution to your problem and I wish I could be more help :)

Let us know if the food change works. BTW, are they on the regular Evo or Red Meat? Rocky's on the regular (poultry based) and like I said, he smells no different than when he was on Canidae. I may try to rotate the red meat variety in next month just for a change.

When Harley was alive he was a slobberer and my dogs always smelled like dogs because his drool was all over them has one of your dogs started drooling. Now that Harley is gone its not that bad

They were on a the chicken variety. I am going to try Taste of the Wild Wetlands Canine Formula with Roasted Wild Fowl and see how that is. Will ley you know.
As for the drooling, that could be some of it with my male, as he smells worse then my female.
