What type of activity does she have. If she plays hard she will sleep alot. I know during the week when I do not have alot of time to play outside with my guys they are full of energy. On weekends when they are outside alot and get alot of play time they pretty much sleep inside.

LOL! Lacie is also a very laid back boxer, infact i thought she was sick because she slept so much, but watch out, the older Lacie has gotten (just turned a year in June) she has gotten more energy! But I must admit its great when I want to take a nap Lacie will jump right in bed with me! Actually I think she just plays sooooo hard that she needs to sleep so she can go "wacko" again. cindy

Ha! Sounds like Debo, as my hubby jokes: "All he do is sleep!"

But I asked this same question and someone says that dogs sleep 75% of the time. I know that where I live it's too hot and Debo sleeps ALL day until around 10 pm when dad is expected home (11) and then he goes nuts! Dad keeps him up until around 2 or 3 and it's back to sleep!

He wasn't like that last year, but we took him out a lot more for exercise.

If you crate your dog, I think you notice that he's more energetic when he's out of his crate. For instance, during the week, Wagner is crated while I work, when I come home and at night he's quite energetic because he's been cooped up and he also hasn't seen us all day.

On the weekends, he's out of his crate all day, so he knows we're there, he plays, sleeps, sleeps and plays. Certainly more sleeping on the weekends when he knows we're not going anywhere.

Dont worry! I asked the same question about mine. They are like new born babies. You know how much they sleep. A LOT! I am sure your baby is fine. If you have any concerns take her to the vet and have her checked out. Gracie is just fine now. It just may be that she was stressed from the move from where ever you got her from to your house. I am not a professional thats just my 2 cents
