Seattle

Hi all,
So I just found out officially that we are moving to Seattle end of April...
The thing is we have never been there and will only be going for a weekend in Feb to find a place to live.
Does anyone know anything about Seattle....do you live there and have a great vet? Can you make suggestions about where we should live...
I would love any sugestions or help.
We had thought that we would be going to Rhode Island so I was trying to prepare myself for that but now our sails have turned to the northwest..
Exciting but scary....

We don't currently live in Seattle, DH is Army but my daugher and I will be going back home in the spring when he deploys, anyways. Seattle housing is very expenisve are you looking to rent or buy? We love Seattle it's a great place to live and you will get used to the drizzly weather before you know it. It's also a great place to own a boxer as there are so many fun outdoor things to do and dog friendly parks. I can't help with the vet.

The only thing I can say about the housing is my friend lives in ballard and pays reasonable rent and there is also an off leash park there that she goes to every night that is open very late.
