Seattle was terrific!

Seattle was beautiful! I was just amazed at the lovely flowers that were still blooming, couldn't believe that could be happening in December. Loved the architecture. The people were so friendly. We got to see and do lots of of the fun touristy things while we were there.

We had time to spend with our son. Met his lovely girlfriend, who he has had the good sense to propose to. This wonderful girl will become our daughter in law in May. Even better, they will be moving to Wisconsin this summer. He is leaving the Air Force and she will be attending grad school, so they are going to begin a new life here. This girl is fabulous! She says the most wonderful things about my son, but doesn't take any nonsense from him either. And she's cuter than a bug's ear. I'm so happy to have a female joining the family!

Life is indeed pretty darned good. Wedding in Washington and then a big, whopping reception in Wisconsin to welcome them to our humongous, slightly ... alright incredibly red-necked family. If that doesn't send the girl packing she'll be good for the long haul!

That is great that the trip went well. That is wonderful that your son will move back to Wisconsin. Your daughter- in- law will learn quickly about beer, brats, cheese and football in our great state. Will they move to the Milwaukee area or in the "country" somewhere? I read in your other post that Indy survived-that's good.

Milwaukee or immediate surrounding area. She will attend UWM for grad school.

I love Seattle! My sister has lived there for several years. It is just beautiful. I am glad you had such a good time. Your future daughter in law sounds terrific! Congratulations to you and your family!
