Runny poops...Garlic??

Okay...just a quick question I noticed a flea on Giddy this morning and I was a little freaked out about it. I have been wanting to start adding garlic powder in with his food anyway and I figured no better time than now. I gave it with his food this morning and then again about an hour ago... about 5 minutes ago he made a nice big pile of butt mudd at the bottom of my stairs. He is pretty much housebroken and has had an accident in awhile...but when you gotta go you gotta go I guess. So to my question, could it be the garlic that is causing this? Does he just need some time to get used to it..could I be adding to much? Oops that turned into a few questions...Thanks all!!

I use Frontline on my boys for fleas...but have heard garlic works well.But you do have to watch the amount that you are giving them.How much are you giving Giddy?You have to remember garlic can be toxic as it is a member of the onion family!
