running in circles

My boy Tyson keeps running in circles and always to the left.
He is a healthy 2 1/2 year old fawn. He loves to run but he does circles constantly. He'll go around and around the coffee table until he gets tired.
Is this normal behavior?

Thumper does boxer burns around our pool all the time. My other two (not boxers) are usually following behind in fast pursuit. ~ Cathy

Perfectly normal. It's called the "Boxer Burn"

my 8 months old male boxer does it all the time!!! he runs around our coffee table until he's tired. if we are at the park, he runs in circles with a ball in his mouth, even with no one chasing him!

my boxer will only go to the bathroom while on the leash if he is going around me in a clockwise circle. He runs around me until he finds a spot. If he's not going in the right direction he won't go.
