Hello all, my name is Dahn and I live in Jacksonville, Fl. I got my first boxer, Rexamous Brutus Beefcake last year as a birthday gift and he has been the best gift I have ever gotten. Since I was a kid, I always wanted a boxer but because of my dad's military status I couldnt keep an animal due to moving. At 33 years of age, I finally got him and I have never been more happy. He has made a wonderful addition to my family and has proven to be my very best friend in the whole wide world. When Im sad, he is sad and when Im happy he is overjoyed. Im glad I found this site so that I can meet and share stories with other boxer owners.

You sound like a happy proud mamma - welcome to the club! I think anyone on here would agree that Boxers are the most "human" like dogs, they seem to feel our feelings and have great expression.

Welcome and greetings from Pennsylvania! So glad your wish came true! My Sugar is 1-1/2 years old, and she is the love of my life! They are so smart, and you're right about them knowing what we're feeling and what we need, whether it's a snuggle, some playtime, a hug, or a big strong Boxer shoulder to lean on. They are so unconditionally loving, and they love us in spite of our flaws...incredible! So glad you joined the site!
