I think that is HUGE! Tess has always been a real runt...she is 7 months and weighs around 40 lbs. Zelda however, is a beast!! At 2 days shy of 9 weeks, she already weighs a whopping 12 1/2 lbs! The vet says she is going to be really big. Big or small, you gotta love 'em all!!!

Amy,

I think everyone worries way to much about their boxers weight. It is much more important that they are the right weight for what size they are and that they are not too fat or too skinny. A healthy shiny coat is much more important and is more indicative of general health.

The American Standard for the boxer does not specify a weight. The German standard suggest 66-70 pounds for dogs and 55-60 pounds for bitches.

I wouldn't worry about Sidney. I'm sure she will put on 10 more pounds before she is full grown.

FYI-
Brutus is a very big guy. He is 10 months and weighs about 65 lbs. He was 20 lbs at 12 weeks !

Amaya is on the small side. She is 4 mo and weighs about 20 lbs. The vet said she'll most likely be around 50lbs full grown. Bru is headed towards 80-90 lbs.

I agree that it's not necessary to worry too much about their weight. If your boxer is not fat, I wouldn't worry about the weight. I've seen some big variations in boxer sizes. Although I agree it's normal to be curious. :0

Our Remy is 85 lbs. and not at all fat. He is definitely on the big side for a boxer (big wide chest, muscles everywhere).
Bailey is only 9 months and probably weighs about 50 lbs.

Yeah I was just curious about the sizes.
I could care less how big Striker gets.
He is very healthy, and eats good, that's all that matters.
Sometimes I wish I could still carry him around!!

Gus is healthy and FULL of energy. He is (tomorrow) 1 year and 4 months old. 2 weeks ago at the vet he weighed 75.3 pounds. I think he's perfect--of course, I am biased. The vet said he'll probably put on another 10 pounds before he's done.
