I guess since the cat had already destroyed my furniture, it was OK for Maggie to be a couch dog. I want her to be comfortable anywhere she wants. After all, I brought her into this house and it is just as much her house as mine now.

Glad you liked the pics. She is such a sweetie.

MaggieMae is really a sweety, what lovely photos. I agree with you that as soon as we have a pet of any kind, our homes are just as much theirs also. As a matter of fact, I say that I am very pleased that Sergeant allows us to live with him, in his home!.

Thanks for the note. Maggie says thanks too!

I want her to be comfortable anywhere in the house and know her limits (re: chewing and getting into things she shouldn't). A few rules but she is quite good about it thus far. I'm sure the terrible 2s will be a challenge, but so far, a clap of the hands and a stern "NO" is all it takes. She's learning NO very well this way and isn't afraid either. She has also already learned to sit on command and walks with a lead so proudly. And she's getting very good at doing her business outside. If only Daddy's timing were better, but we're getting there. Shouldn't be too much longer.

We're off to the vet for a check up on her case of ear mites. They seem to be cleared up, but I want the vet to check for sure.

Good luck with your little bundle of joy. Boxers are the BEST!
