We had this problem too. Cat food is not totally digested by the cat, that is why the dogs like cat poo so much. It tastes like cat food.

We had to put a "kitty door" in the door to our laundry room, and that is where the cat boxes are.

Problem Solved!

The litter box is now in the basement. A swinging cat door was the ticket! Fleabag can't fit through it anymore.
