Yeah my daughter does treats also but only when we have to do the back nails.

Hi, Maxsmomma:

Just wanted to suggest never putting your dog in his crate with his collar on. The collar can get caught on something and he can get seriously injured. I hope his toe is feeling better!

Thanks everyone for your words of advice and encouragement. Max seems to be back to normal. I don't think he'll be letting me get close to his nails for a little while but he's back to his normally goofy self!
