Ariel is in need of a play buddy! I Believe her aggression problem is due to lack of stimulation with other big dogs, I also think if I were to get her around a nice boxer that knows how to play, she might learn something! If anyone is up for the challenge and I hope some one can help us, she really really needs a friend!

Awww! I am from Richmond but live in Massachusetts now! I hope you can find a nice playmate! I know if Dempsey were visiting his grandparents he would LOVE to play with Ariel...

Well I live in Hampton, va. I wish I were a little closer. Tatum would love a boxer friend to play with. My daughter goes to school everyday until noon and I have to take her and drop her off and then my son takes his nap until 4:00. I work at a vet clinic on the weekends so there goes that. Maybe we could figure something out. What part of Richmond do you live in? I am somewhat familiar with it.

I'm from Richmond. I have 2 boys, whom I do take to the dog park. I try to take them there to socialize with others. I try to take them there early morning because the amount of dog increases during the day. They are quite submissive to other dogs. If you would like, I could introduce you to them or just one at first.

Ahh that would be great! I live in Cary town. Oh, where is the the dog park? I am new to the area and would love to find some friends for Ariel! My Neighbor also has a boxer that is going through some socialization issues and we were going to try to get them together, like walking and seeing each other through the fence. I also found a trainer in my area, and I think I am going to talk with her and see if it’s a good idea to get her around other dogs yet! But if you would like to get together after I see her that would be awesome!

Really close to Carytown. It's next to Dogwood Dell which is near Maymont off of Boulevard if you know where that is. It's called Barker Field. A lot of people go there to socialize their dogs. They also have a small area for smaller dogs. I usually try to take my boys there every weekend just to get them out, but we've been really busy for a few weekends. When you're ready, I'd love to introduce mine to yours. It's probably too big of a place for the first time since there will be many dogs. Starting slow will help her a lot. Let me know when you can!
