Wow, that is impressive.
I remember in Ireland we had an american family that lived down the road and at christmas time there would be traffic jams outside their house with everyone looking at the lights. This was in the 70´s / 80´s so for us it was a novelty.
Can´t wait to see all the other photos.

Wow that's amazing! I like the bigger bulbs that are hanging in the tree. Where did you get those?

Love it! That's really pretty. Would you tell me how you did such perfect rows on the roof, and are the arches over your driveway pvc pipe? How do you get them to not fall down?

It's very pretty.

it was just my dh and son(11) who worked on it with me on the ground throwing up the strands of lights... one strand didn't quite make it, I broke them launching them up to dh... it took 2 days...

It's very pretty.

we did the rows by measuring and putting screws up at the top and bottom of each row and then just hooked the strand around and pulled tightly...and yes the arches are made out of 1 1/4 inch pvc pipe, quite expensive if you ask me, almost 10.00/piece... you pound in ribarb(sp) in either side of the arches resting place and force the pipe over the ribarbs.. then of course with 'T's and crosses, we put a center brace from each arch connected to the house... painted those green and just wrapped the arches with garland and lights... here's a few pics of the process...

you might be able to see the center mounts in these pics... this project turned out to just be a little time consuming... but worth it in the long run...
