He just had his second series of vax yesterday to include kennel cough. My daughter noticed the bump this morning. I know it is probably nothing to get too excited about, but I'm not sure if I should go to the vet on Monday or wait until we see the vet in another three weeks. SInce I can't upload pix on this site I posted two here in an album called Max's Bump:

p.s. the fingers you see are those of my 11 y.o. daughter :)

It could very well be a reaction to his vaccinations...or it could be an insect bite.I would just keep an eye on it...and if it gets larger or doesn't go away...put a call into the vet.

I, too, was going to say it was from the vaccination but when viewing the pics I see it is on the underbody near the front legs, so that blows that theory. As someone said it could be an insect bite, I would definately watch it since boxers have a tendency to get tumors. Sending (((((((positive))))))) vibes your way that your baby has nothing to worry about.

Thanks!! It is actually closer to his hind legs. He isn't acting any different, which is good. He was romping around in the back yard the other day and he was in the bushes for a couple of short spurts so it could be an insect bite. We will keep a close eye on it. :)
