I normally post about my 4 month old Boxer puppy, Marvel, but my oldest son told me I need to share pictures of his 'bestest buddy"
This is Emmie Rou. My son got her as a companion when he was two and she was 8 weeks old.My son is almost 5 now and Emmie is a little over 2 years. She is supposed to be a Chihuahua and Beagle mix and is 16 pounds of pure love! This little dog means the world to my son and he means the world to her. She loves people, but she LOVES my son on a whole different level. She is his dog, and he is her human. They have such a close, amazing bond. I wish I could of got pictures of them together, but getting my son to stay still long enough is impossible. But, I am showing his 'bestest buddy' for him.

I told my son what you guys said about Emmie Rou (He is still learning to read.) And this was his reply:
"She is my bestest buddy and I wouldn't trade her for anything. I will never have another dog as special to me as she is. And tell them thank you for saying she is beautiful and adorable, because she sure is, isn't she?"

How sweet that your son wanted to share his best buddy! She sure is a pretty girl. The bond that a fury baby forms with their human and vice versa is special beyond words. Thanks to you and your son for sharing!

Emmie is a very special, one of a kind dog. Especially for her to put up with my son's antics. I love him to death, but he can be rough and rowdy, over stimulated, and excessively hyper, but she never seems to mind. In my opinion, it is a special animal that can tolerate a little child in all their glory.
