Super Boxer
I recently had one of those moments when you realize how smart your boxer is in their own thought process and planning...
Our dogs are always crated when we leave the house. Well, we recently began leaving the little maltese in our garden bathtub with his basket to sleep in because it gives him a little room to get out and stretch and he can't get out of the tub. After a few days of doing this, we were getting ready to leave and told the dogs to get in their crates and Sidda went and hopped in the tub! We laughed so hard! I was amazed that she decided by herself this could be her alternative to the crate too....

After that we have decided maybe she can graduate from her crate too. We have been testing her, leaving her in our bedroom. We started with just a short time and now she has done fine for up to 4 or 5 hours so she is happy and we are glad she "let us know" that she was ready....

are 2 still have to be crated and go their whenever we say "go to your room" but everytime we try and give them some independence they destroy something
