Olly---As a rescurer that found that thread extremely upsetting ......... thank you for your response.
There are people in this world that find a half-filled glass of water...half empty. And there are those that find that same glass...half full. I find the few people that constantly whine about the things "wrong" with rescue, to be the "half-empty" group. I find the people that take on an over-whelming job (like rescue)& attack it with the best they have (including hope & optimism), to be in the group that finds the glass...half full.
Negativity never solved a problem. When people don't take part in rescue, & then find fault with sincere efforts, they only cause more problems. They have probably dissuaded someone from adopting, thus causing more problems for our boxers in need.
Thank you again, Olly, for stopping that poster from adding more negativity. I have faith that the people in rescue have the ability to fix any problems they may have without added outside "help".
