New to the site, new to Boxers

Hi everyone! My name is Kacey and I live in central Virginia. My family and I are planning on bringing a boxer into our family in the next little bit. My older sister owns a boxer and my little girls LOVE her. I have researched everything I can about the breed, and we are looking forward to meeting a Boxer this week who has been rescued, to consider if she will be a good fit with our family. update on my rescue baby

We have a new family member! Precious Chloe is here with me right now. It was love at first sight! She's so beautiful! The family that originally rescued her had owned a boxer girl for years before she passed recently, but they knew they couldn't keep Chloe long term. I had put an ad on Craig'sList looking for a rescue/adoption and the foster dad emailed me about Chloe on Monday. She is 8 months old and in great health. Her previous owners were a young couple who had a sudden job change and were basically keeping her crated most of the time. She'll have more love and attention than she'll know what to do with here with us. My three year old announced that she loved her before she went to bed and my 17 month old just giggles everytime she sees her. I'm so happy!
