Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone else has this with their boxer. My little baby is 6 months old now and since the first day I got him he never leaves my side.
When I try to sneak to the bathroom because he is sleeping he immediately rushes as fast as he can to be sure he can enter the room with me. When I'm taking a shower he waits in front of the tub. Even when he is really tired and sleeping as soon as I get up to get something in the kitchen he follows.

It's not that it bothers me or anything (I sercretly even like it ^^) just wondering if most boxers do this. He is my first boxer :)

Hurricane does this too, although now that he is 9 months he has started to be a little more independant.... we are in a two story loft and he will now occasionally go downstairs by himself, but other than that he is still stuck to us like glue. And yes, I love it too! (except when I am trying to make the bed and he thinks its a fun game, then its just annoying  )

As least he waits for you outside the tub, Hurricane will jump right in! He has given himself a bath many times. Sometimes I think maybe I defeated myself by getting him unafraid of the shower/tub/water. Yeah bath times for him are a breeze, the challenge is keeping him out when its MY bathtime! hehe :)

Haha now that must be funny to see but rather annoying if you are in a hurry.
Akira doesn't like taking a shower that much, lucky me :p

Oh yes....Crash who is almost 3 1/2 years old still follows me around everywhere. Has to sit on my feet while I'm doing the dishes, on the computer or follows me as soon as I get up from the couch. Sometimes it is annoying b/c I trip over him trying to cook or something. Have to remember not to rush to the phone...I fall for sure :)

Bosco, however is more independent.....doesn't care where I go.

Moab's the same way! It doesn't seem to matter how sleepy he is, if I leave the room, he follows. The only time he doesn't is if he's asleep on "our" chair and then he may not get up, but he'll at least raise his head to check on where I'm going.

All 3 of mine are like that I don't bother closing the bathroom door if I am home alone Cooper can push it and open it anyway. I watch TV with all 3 of them on the couch sleep with them I love that in Boxers though

Oscar is the same way and he is 4 years old. We have a baby gate up for our little boy Gus while we are housebreaking him, if I go into that room and close the gate behind me I get whines and big sad eyes. On Sunday's, I try to let the BF sleep in so I will close the door to the bedroom with the boys asleep inside. No more than 2 minutes later, they have pushed the door open and are charging my way to only fall back asleep on the floor by my feet. It's kinda of like having an entrouage!

Well don't expect it to stop! Austin is almost 10 and STILL follows me everywhere I go in this house! He could be sound asleep and if I get up and go in another room he's right behind me! Even in my tiny laundry room where he has to back out because there isn't enough room for him to turn around!
