Need obedience training in Ohio

Does anyone know of a good obedience trainer/classes for boxers in the northeast ohio area?

This might be a good place to start looking. Other than that you can talk up people at the dog park or pet store. All the trainers I've heard of give a free consultation first, so that would be a good way for you to decide if you agree with their methods ( no physical punishment or harmful collars used ever) or think they would be a good match for you and your pup.

I'm afraid that you're too far away to recommend mine. She's in Fremont. But she's great with the dogs. As a matter of fact, me and Bella just went to a maintenance class tonight and had a blast!

I talked to my trainer and she recommended a trainer named Christy Thomas. She used to be with Four Paws which I believe is in Elyria. I have her e-mail address but unfortunately I can't post it here because of the rules. If you would like me to pursue it and see if she is still with Four Paws or is working somewhere else just let me know and I will e-mail her myself. I checked out the link you posted for the other facility and I wish I was closer to you. I would love to take Bella to agility classes but living where I do, there is no place convenient.

What dis you think of that place? I talked to one of the owners and it really seems like a top notch facility. I think I'll try this place first but if it does not work out I'll get a hold of you and get this lady info. Thanks for the work you put in getting this info for me.

Judging from the website, that looks like a great place! Not to mention the variety of classes they teach. I looked over the training tips they mention- very pleased with all the advice they give. It is relatively inexpensive as well.

I live in Canton and know an excellent trainer. She has a degree in animal behavior and has a facility in Uniontown. She will also go to the home although I'm not sure how far she will travel. If this is close enough let me know and I;ll give you the info. She's great.
