Max has been doing good the last two weeks going outside and do his business. Even last week he was going to the door to let us know he wanted out. Well this weekend was a total weekend from hell. He acts like he forgot all he has learn in the lasdt two weeks and just went in the house and once in his crate. He is 10 weeks old but he was doing so good until this weekend. Is this normal and what can I do to help him start to go back outside?

My only advice is to persevere there will be set backs and accidents and we are sure we will go crazy foolicon My mantra was after she eats after she sleeps after she plays. I kept saying that to my self. There is also lots of other advice in this section have a look through. Give yourself some credit you are working hard at this appicon

We are taking him out every hour now instead of every 2hrs to see if that works. He starts puppy school on Thursday so maybe that will help.

Completely Boxer Crazy
OH Curt, I have been there. We had a horrible time with Rocky. Apollo was 11 weeks old when we got him, and completely potty trained. Rocky on the other hand didn't turn the page until he was 6 mos old, which is what everyone on here told me it could take up to. I was taking him out sometimes every 45 minutes, but he could be in the crate all night and not have an accident(stopped going in crate after 2 times). Hang in there and be patient with him. Just remember he's only a baby.

it is normal to have set backs, just keep up with him and make sure that when he does go outside you make a REALLY BIG deal about it. Don't think just becuase he went outside for 2 weeks straight that he is completely potty trained.

Our vet told us that we should keep Memphis crated for 6 months - 1 year. That way they instill in their mind that they cannot go in the house.

Make s BIG DEAL when he goes outside and just keep up with it. After 3 weeks you should be decreasing the time between his trips outside, if you keep up 45 minutes for too long, he will get into that routine and never learn to hold it.

Good luck and keep us posted.
