Last night we trimmed Maggie's nails, something we do at least every 4 weeks. I have noticed the last couple of times we trimmed her nails that one of the nails seems to be splintering on the sides and the quick is pulling away from the nail. It doesn't seem to cause her any pain, but I can see the quick is now growing outside the nail and I'm sure it would eventually cause a problem. Has anyone seen this before?
