Boxer Insane
My Ailis, the sweetest dog that ever lived, would have been five years old tomorrow. I lost her to BCM right after she turned three and it broke my heart to see her go. Ai was one of those dogs that was meant to live to be old and grey. In her short life she amazed me every day. She was the most timid pup, tiny and skittish, but grew up to be brave and the perfect boxer size, lean with the most beautiful head. Ai's curiosity finally overtook her fear and in the last year of her life she blossomed. She flew around the agility trial, sat and stayed in the obedience ring, and stole the heart of everyone that met her. The day she got her CGC the judge said she was a "special" girl, and she truly was. Ai made friends with every dog she ever met. At the beach she found a soul mate in a gigantic pitbull and the owner of that pit cried because no one would come near her dog, but my Ai was all play bows and boxer wiggles and showed everyone on that beach just how great pitbulls are
In Bar Harbor ME she was invited to sit at the bar and the bartender give her a bowl of water and a pretzel. She was the queen and she knew it.
How I miss you my girl! How I wish I could have seen that muzzle turn grey and watch you live your life out for years to come. Stay safe at the bridge until Mama comes to find you. If love and memories keep us alive you will never be gone as long I am here to think of you and smile at the gifts you gave me. God Bless Ailis Girl-there will never be another like you
