My name is Brian, I do not have a boxer yet but I'm getting him Feb 1. He will be 10 weeks old, I have some names I've been considering but nothing set in stone yet (I feel like I got to interact with him a bit first). I've wanted a dog, specifically a boxer for many years but have put off buying one until I settle down a bit. I just recently bought a house so now I'm confident that I have a place suitable for a dog. It is not exactly big inside, but has a moderately-sized fenced-in yard. I'm very active and plan to make him part of that. One of my first questions on these forums will be regarding running with my dog, and at what age I can run with him and not have to worry that I'm doing harm to his growing body.
I have two cats and I look forward to how they will get along. They have been exposed to and lived with a lot of different cats/dogs, and are much more accepting of other animals than most cats are.
