MY Magic, Our Deeg and Family

My Magic, Our Deeg and Us-the-Family now have our pictures in Boxer World Photo Gallery.

When I first joined BW, I was heartbroken; I needed an outlet to help me heal from the recent passing of my best friend Magic. I posted her pictures first; she is mostly in the second page of the gallery.

My husband and I decided to see what a Boxer Rescue looked like. To our surprise, we rescued Deeg an 18-month-old boy.

So, here we are...smile!!

Julie, I am so proud of you for moving forward to rescuing another boxer! When I lost Patrick, it took me two years before I would move forward with another dog. When I lost Rulon, I already had Smiley (a severly abused terrier) and then an abused boxer found her way to me and I took her in too. I have now decided that, when I get another dog after losing one, it is my way of honoring their memory by giving love and care to one less fortunate then they were. Magic was very lucky to have you and now Deeg gets to benefit from your love and care too!

Wonderful pics I especially loved the one where Deeg is hugging Dad. Boxers are wonderful. Your Magic is a very beautiful girl, I understand how you must miss her. By the pics I know you have many wonderful memories to hold on to when you start to miss her all over again. Deeg, I am sure, is doing his share to help make the passing of Magic a more tolerable situation. Thanks for sharing...
